The teams competing at VCT Champions have earned their place through consistent top-tier performances in their respective regions or via the VCT points system and Last Chance Qualifiers. They're not just playing for the trophy, they're battling for international glory, a share of a multi million dollar prize pool, and the honor of etching their names into VALORANT esports history.
A Free Cam Observer and In-Game Director in VALORANT plays a critical role in shaping the viewer experience during live broadcasts. This position blends technical skill with creative storytelling, using the in game camera tools to capture the most compelling moments of a match. As a Free Cam Observer, you manually control the camera to follow the action in real time, providing dynamic and cinematic perspectives that highlight strategic plays, clutch moments, and team coordination. As the In-Game Director, you make live decisions on which player POVs or camera angles to show, guiding the broadcast narrative and helping viewers stay engaged and informed. This role requires a deep understanding of VALORANT’s mechanics and competitive flow, as well as the ability to anticipate where key action will unfold. It also involves close coordination with production teams, shoutcasters, and other observers to ensure smooth transitions, cohesive pacing, and a polished overall presentation.
